Dr. and Mrs. Ken Bryant Dr. Ken Bryant, Oak Tree's lead counselor, is a National Certified Counselor. He received his Ph.D. in Counseling from the University of North Texas (after degrees from the University of Missouri, Ozark Christian College & Pittsburg State University). Ken has spent over 30 years as a pastor--studying, preaching and teaching the Word of God, with over 15 years concentrated in Christian Counseling. He is assisted in the counseling room by his wife, Carol, when working with couples or women, bringing a unique dynamic to the counseling process. Carol is a trained public educator who has enjoyed studying and teaching the life-giving truths of the Bible for over 30 years as well.
Ken and Carol have been married over 39 years and have experienced the joys, the challenges, the trials, the defeats and the triumphs of Christian living, both as individuals and as a couple. Next to their relationship with Christ, their marriage and their family are their greatest treasures. God has blessed them with four wonderful sons and four wonderful daughter-in-laws. Ken and Carol also know the joy of helping to pass on their Christian heritage to thirteen precious grandchildren.
In the counseling process, Ken and Carol believe that the Holy Spirit is “The Counselor,” and they are simply “vessels” used by Him to share the life-giving TRUTH and LOVE of God to help people experience God’s grace, restoration, strength, and freedom from the emotional and spiritual problems that have bound their lives and relationships.
Oak Tree Marriage & Family is located in the southwest corner of Missouri in the Springfield-Branson area. Its central location in the U.S. makes it easily accessible by major highways and airports. Surrounded by the rolling hills of the Ozark Mountains, the area offers beautiful scenery, family-oriented entertainment, and “large-city amenities with hometown hospitality.”
